December 10, 2017 – I received the call.
You know that feeling you get when you're rushing to get out of the house in the morning to go to work, you're running late and trying to grab too many bags at once, stumbling over shoes and God knows what else on the floor and fumbling for your keys? That is a pretty close comparison to the feelings I had when I received the call... and really, I pretty much get that feeling every time I receive the call. It's some kind of weird combustion of excitement and wonder of the unknown.
On this particular day, mama S. had been waiting for this sweet boy's arrival with eagerness to say the least. The waiting game had finally met its end and we were all excited for it.
For these clients, I had the pleasure of being their doula AND their birth photographer. This is a service combo that I offer in my deluxe package. For now, I do not offer birth photography as a solo service, only as an add on. Our area has a handful of amazing birth photographers that are completely 100% worth their prices. But this post isn't to talk about birth photography, it's to ooo and aww and tear up over this beautiful birth!
This mama was a super warrior in this birth experience and I feel so blessed to have been a part of it! Baby Cole has been welcomed into a family that has prayed for and been wanting for him much longer than 9 months.
